No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act mandates that we have parents involved in the education of their children and provides support for developing ways and means for families to become involved. The NCLB Act reminds us that we are all accountable for our future, for our children’s success.
NCLB Parent University offers free online training and parenting classes. For more information on course content you may contact any of the KYPIRC Regional Field Staff or Cathy Barnard, KYPIRC Program Director - (502) 647-3533 Ext. 217.
NCLB Parent University is a FREE online Parent education training program. It is designed by KYPIRC for providers to better prepare them with the knowledge and materials to train parents and it is also designed for individual parents to expand their knowledge and provide them with resources to support their child/children’s academic development.

Parenting is not a skill to be left to chance; our communities, our schools, our churches, organizations and individuals must join together in this critical role of supporting families. Through your participation in the Parent University, you and your family/community have an opportunity to make a difference. The well-being of families must become a priority for all communities.
