This site links into LifeMatters newsletter, which contains forums for both parents and non-parents on health related, relationship, success, nutrition, and fitness issues.

Pampers Total Baby Care has assembled this web site to contain a variety of good information. Besides the obvious product information, the research centers features some good information and advice from experts.

Known as Parent Soup now became an iVillage web site. Parents with children in all stages of development will enjoy this web site! A wealth of resources, it contains parenting tips, discussion groups, chat groups, and a variety of topics on which parents can access expert advice. Also offers communities for parents in each stage of parenting. Has a great name finder for expectant parents.

Information for parents including listings of childcare providers, subsidy assistance programs, nutrition information and much more!

AAK Magazine
The "All About Kids Newsletter" is published in Cincinnati. This page features a variety of articles from this publication. There is also a forum, which has several discussion groups parents can participate in, as well as a bookstore and links to other parent-related web sites.

Baby Center
Expectant parents can access this web site to obtain articles on various topics related to expectant and new parents. It also features debates, checklists, interactive tools, polls, and listings on a variety of topics. The Baby Monitor, a weekly newsletter, which parents can subscribe to, is published from this site. A medical board consisting of doctors, psychologists, midwives, etc approves all articles.

National Center for Health Statistics
Web site provides information about birth, death and health statistics can be located here. Access to news releases, fact sheets, minutes from NCHS meetings, and a bibliography with brief abstracts of journal articles published by the NCHS is contained on this site. There is a Frequently Asked Questions segment regarding health statistics and links to other health-related sites.

CYFC
The Table of Contents section provides a wealth of links, articles, and publications on parenting related issues for parents, parent educators, and education personnel, as well as information about the CYFC. They also hosts the site FatherNet.

Down To Earth Dad
A down to earth dad is dedicated to the children in his life. He plays with his kids, tells them stories from his childhood, helps them solve problems, and spends time with them. A down to earth dad is a good role model because he knows his children are watching. A down to earth dad puts his kids at the top of his priorities, whether he sees them daily or not.

The site is created by parents for parents. Millions of parents rely on FamilyEducation.com's trusted homework help, parenting tips, and expert advice.

Fathers
National Center for Fathering. This organization has developed a web site in response to the trend toward fatherlessness in America. Dr. Ken Canfield founded it in 1990. This site offers lots of good articles/tips for fathers, links, materials for father support groups, and a bookstore through which fathers can order books and tapes. Parent educators can also order materials and training information through the bookstore.

Fathers Network
This site targets fathers of children with special health care needs and developmental disabilities. The site features articles, links, information about medical needs, bulletin boards, and a segment in Spanish.

First Things
This is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families. First Things First is a community resource that collaborates with and is supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations groups and individuals.

Great Schools Newsletters
Offers a new free series of email newsletters designed to inform parents about what to expect in their child's classroom and how they can help him or her at home.

Health Finder
This site is a consumer-related gateway to health and human services information from the U.S. government. The search engine links the consumer to resources on a particular subject, offers links to the latest health news, events and press releases, and provides links to online journal publications. Also supplies links to toll free numbers, self-help and support group information.

Jason Foundation
Parents and teachers are faced with many questions when it comes to working with or raising youth in today’s world.  Unfortunately, youth suicide is one of these concerns.  The PRP provides valuable information and can assist parents, teachers and others with questions or concerns they may have about youth and suicide.  The information in the PRP is provided in a way that even the youth themselves could view the site and understand how to help a friend.

Kids Health
This site is divided into sections for kids, parents, and health care professionals. It is sponsored by the Nemours Foundation. It has an easy search option to access the entire web site database for information on a specific subject. It also has links to other pages with interesting information.


Mayo Clinic
The website of the Mayo Clinic contains information about children’s health issues, pregnancy, and family life, all under the Healthy Living Center section. Lots of good articles on a variety of topics.

Partnership For Reading
The Partnership for Reading. This site offers a free booklet that gives advice for parents of children from birth to preschool on how to support reading development at home, and how to recognize preschool and day care activities that start children on the road to becoming readers.

NOMOTC
National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club. This site is for mothers of twins, triplets or other multiple birth children. It contains information/tips of specific interest to these mothers, lists products and publications for parents of multiple birth children, and serves as a clearinghouse for information about local chapters of twin clubs.

Parent Net
Brief parenting articles and parenting tips are provided in this web site. Tips feature a variety of different subjects; however, selection of articles is more limited. It also features an overview of parent related news of the week, a movie review section, and a list of books, although it does not provide a synopsis of any books featured. There is a link section to educator sites and sites that kids can access to receive help in homework.

Parenting
Boys Town and Common Sense Parenting sponsor this web site. The site includes articles for parents, a question and answer section covering a variety of topics, and a link to Boys Town Press to view resources.

Center for Effective Parenting
This center has a multitude of resources for parents, teachers, schools, and children on the internet.

Parenting Press
Although mostly a commercial site for ordering books, this site does contain some parenting tips from the various books it features, which cover a variety of topics.

This is the official site for the Parents Without Partners program. The site directs parents to their local chapter of the program, as well as provides a newsletter, news and events, resources on the net for single parents, and a chat room for members.

National PTA
This site offers information about the National PTA and Parent Involvement. National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.

Reading Rockets
This site provides information about teaching kids to read and helping those who struggle.

Star Fall
The Starfall learn-to-read program was created to meet the needs of the emergent reader by incorporating rhyming games and high-interest books that teach phonemic awareness (sounds in words), phonics, decoding skills, and comprehension. The program is designed to instill confidence and enable the child to proceed as quickly as possible to a balanced reading program.

The National Campaign

Scholastic Parent Guides. A parent and child magazine for preschool, grade school and middle school. You will find information on school and learning, books and reading, activities and family life.

Center For Parent Leadership

The site offers specific advice on what parents should know and be able to do to work most effectively with schools. Children, Youth and Family Consortium.
